Download Infinix Hot 2 X510 Android 6.0 Marshmallow Official Update Here

Although, Infinix Hot 2, X510 is expected to receive android 6.0 Marshmallow update directly from Infinix but, it is not expected this soon. Just few days ago, Infinix began pushing android 6.0 Marshmallow updates on Infinix X510 which is also known as Infinix Hot 2.

If you have yet receive the notification to update your Infinix Hot 2  to android 6.0 Marshmallow, here is how to download and install the android 6.0 Marshmallow on your Infinix Hot 2. Remember that this update is official and only for Infinix Hot 2, X510.

Intalling Android 6.0 Marshmallow On Infinix Hot 2, X510

NOTE: If you have rooted your Infinix Hot 2 which is also known as X510, you should perform a clean Flash of your Hot 2 before upgrading to android 6.0 Marshmallow.

If you have succeeded in flashing your Infinix Hot 2 using the stock ROM, you may now proceed below for instructions on how to upgrade to android 6.0 Marshmallow.

INSTALLING ANDROID 6.0 MARSHMALLOW ON INFINIX HOT 2
1. Download Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA Update for Infinix Hot 2 X510 from here.
2. Once you’ve downloaded the Android 6.0 zip file from the link above, Rename it to update.zip
3. Place it on the root of your SD Card (it shouldn't be in any folder).
4. Power off your Infinix Hot 2 and then, boot to recovery.

To Boot Infinix Hot 2 X510 to Recovery:
. Press and Hold both Power and Volume up buttons while the phone is off.
. Some will boot straight to recovery. If it shows Dead Android bot instead, tap the Power or Volume Down button once.
5. Scroll down with Volume button until you reach "Apply Update from SD Card" and then, press the power button to select it.

Wait few seconds until the installation is complete and then, reboot the phone.

NOTE: the first boot may take up to 10 minutes before it completes.
