Huawei G8 Surfaced with 5.5-inch, 1080p Screen with A Finger-print Scanner

If you have been expecting the Huawei G8, a successor for the Huawei G7, well, here it is! The Huawei G8 has been released in China as a mid-range device with a metal design.

The handset boasts of a 5.5-inch Full HD display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC and Adreno 405 GPU. The device comes as a twin with two storage options: one with 16GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM, the other with 32GB of on-board storage and 3GB of RAM. Both models come with expandable memory up to an additional 64GB.

The Huawei G8 is graced with a 13MP rear-facing camera while a 5MP camera sits on the front. Huawei included a fingerprint scanner on the back of the G8 just below the camera. For a smartphone as powerful as this, a battery capacity of less than 3000 mah would not have done better therefore, the Huawei G8 is powered with a 3000 mah battery running Android 5.1 Lollipop behind Huawei’s own Emotion UI.

The Huawei G8 comes in three color options: White, Gold, and Black. The two models will cost $370 and $343, respectively.

Till now, the time this publication is made, no news of the Huawei G8's availability outside China.
