HTC Vivid Recovery And Eng-hboot Flashable Via hboot

Browsing through the internet, I have seen various methods some have used to unlock the HTC Vivid bootloader then, flash a custom recovery. So, l decided to make the whole work simple and for this, I came up with a simple solution.
I made a zip file named PH39IMG.zip which is flashable via hboot. This file contains an ICS bootloader and CWM recovery for the HTC vivid.


The bootloader is not an ENG-off hboot but it is more or less of it. The boot loader is J-bear bootloader and any .img files like recovery.img, radio.img and others could be flashed on it.

What is Eng-off hboot



Hboot is the term HTC uses to refer to their android boot loaders which loads and boots either android or recovery. Meanwhile, an ENG-off boot loader gives you the opportunity to modify or flash certain partitions or .img file on the android device like the radio, recovery or even the boot loader itself which ordinarily, you would need root permission to perform some of these tasks within the android.

Also, with an ENG-off hboot, you have the opportunity to load both signed and unsigned versions of ROM on the phone; especially useful for breaked android devices.

What Is ClockWorkMod Recovery?



ClockWorkMod recovery is one of the most known custom recoveries available for android devices. It can be used to perform most activities of other custom recoveries.

How to Flash the PH39IMG.ZIP File via hboot



Please, note that this process may render your phone useless if carelessly used and that, interruption of the process for any reason or by any means is destructive therefore; you should exercise caution carrying out the process.
This process updates your HTC Vivid, holiday with the latest clockworkmod recovery and ICS hboot.

For optimal result, your battery should be at least, 30% charged before you proceed.

1- Download the file named PH39IMG.zip in the table below this page.

2- Copy the file to the root of your SD Card i.e don't copy it under any folder in the SD Card. And make sure it is named PH39IMG.zip

3- Disable fastboot mode on the phone by going to Menu <<>> Settings <<>> Power <<>> Fastboot.

4- Put off your phone or remove the battery and re-insert the battery again.

5- Boot the phone to hboot by pressing the Power + the Volume Down buttons together for some seconds until the phone boots to hboot.

6- Wait few seconds for the phone to detect and scan the PH39IMG.zip file on your SD Card. If the phone prompts that; "Do you want to start the update?" press the volume Up button to start the update

7- Wait few seconds for the update to complete and reboot your HTC Vivid, holiday.


Congratulations! Now, you can install any custom ROM, upgrade or downgrade your HTC Vivid, holiday and do lots more!

How to Root HTC One V: the Simplified Method

Resently, we discussed a simple and straightforward method you can use to flash a custom recovery on your HTC One V, primo and now, we will be discussing how to root your HTC One V safely and with ease.


Judging by all other tutorials I have seen on the internet about how to root HTC One V, before I came up with this method, it is safe for me to conclude that this method is the safest and quickest because;
1- You do NOT need to tamper with your boot loader or the system files.
2- You do not need any command prompt command lines here.
3- No exploits are needed!

You only need to download a single file and flash it on the phone. That's all.

Note that this method requires you to have custom recovery flashed on your HTC One V, simply visit my page here to flash a TWRP custom recovery via hboot in less than two (2) minutes.

How to Flash SuperUser (SU Binaries) On HTC One V



This process helps you gain root access on your HTC One V.
Depending on your understanding and use of the SuperUser rights, you may render your phone useless and this voids your warranty. Be cautious using the phone when the root access is gained.

1- Download the zip file named SuperUser.zip in the table below this page and save it on the root folder of your SD Card.

2- Boot your phone to recovery by any means. You can simply switch off the phone and then, press and hold the Power + the Volume Down buttons together until the phone comes up on hboot screen.
On the screen that comes up, navigate to the recovery option (using the volume up and volume down buttons) and press the power button to select it.

3- On the recovery screen, choose install zip from SD Card. Then, click Choose zip from SD Card.

4- Navigate to the SuperUser.zip file you may have downloaded from the table below and select it.

5- Confirm that you want to flash the SuperUser.zip file and wait patiently until the process is completed.

6- Reboot your phone, locate the SuperUser app installed on it and enjoy!

HTC One V Recovery Flashable Zip Via Hboot

Anyone that knows the benefits of having a custom recovery flashed on an android device would want to flash a custom recovery like CWM, TeamWIM or 4ext recovery but I have seen all the risky methods being used to flash custom recovery on HTC One V so, I came up with a simple and safer method.
I made a zip file named PK76IMG.zip which is flashable via hboot. This file contains a TeamWIN, TWRP recovery.img for the HTC One V primo (GSM).


Since the HTC One V primo (GSM) is shipped stock with an ICS bootloader, you do not need to upgrade your bootloader to run higher version of android however, an ENG-off hboot or bootloader could be useful for your phone.

How to Flash the PK76IMG.ZIP File via hboot



This process updates your HTC One V, primo with the latest TWRP recovery which replaces your stock recovery or whichever recovery.img you already have.

1- Download the file named PK76IMG.zip in the table below this page.

2- Copy the file to the root of your SD Card i.e don't copy it under any folder in the SD Card. And make sure it is named PK76IMG.zip

3- Disable fastboot mode on the phone by going to Menu <<>> Settings <<>> Power <<>> Fastboot.

4- Put off your phone or remove the battery and re-insert the battery again.

5- Boot the phone to hboot by pressing the Power + the Volume Down buttons together for some seconds until the phone boots to hboot.

6- Wait few seconds for the phone to detect and scan the PK76IMG.zip file on your SD Card. If the phone prompts that; "Do you want to start the update?" press the volume Up button to start the update

7- Wait few seconds for the update to complete and reboot your HTC One V, primo.


Congratulations! Now, you can install any custom ROM, upgrade or downgrade your HTC One V, primo and do lots more!

Official MIUI ROM for HTC DHD/Inspire4G, Android 4.4.1

Here is another ROM for the HTC DHD/Inspire 4G you probably never heard of. This is an MIUI ROM, very stable and fully functional with better battery span for the HTC DHD/Inspire 4G.
At Aryk Enterprise workshop, this particular ROM has been flashed on a number of HTC DHD/Inspire 4G smartphones and so far, we have not heard of any broken parts or bugs in the MIUI ROM.

If you are the type that loves good graphics, clean camera output and better speed, you will probably want to try this ROM out.

So far, we have flashed and tested several ROMs for the HTC amaze 4G at Aryk Enterprise workshop but, the MIUI 4.1.2 which has android version 4.2.2 is likely to be the most welcomed ROM for the HTC Amaze 4G by our customers.
