SuperCID is said to be obtained when an android HTC phone installs any ROM from any provider around the globe. The SuperCID is particularly useful for those who might want to unlock their bootloader - this is because, at the moment, HTC does not provide bootloader unlock support for customers outside Europe.
Obtaining SuperCID is perhaps the beginning of your HTC android device explorations.
With the SuperCID you can install any stock ROMs and with this, you may unlock your bootloader. With the bootloader unlocked, you can install custom recovery, flash any custom ROMs to your HTC device and also the least of it; you can root your HTC device!
1- ADB ( Android Debug Bridge ) tools for windows. Download ADB tools here.
2- Download HTC Android USB Drivers here
Once the download of the files above is completed, just install the USB driver on your computer. You may skip this process if you already have HTC Sync installed on your computer.
As for the ADB tools, UNZIP the file and create a new folder for it on your local drive root folder; not in any sub-folder. It should be e.g C:\ADB
Also, make sure that all the files you unzipped are plain within the ADB folder and not in sub-folder of the ADB folder again.
Please note down the SuperCID figure. If command prompt displays 11111111, it means you already have SuperCID and no need to proceed otherwise; continue to the next line below.
Once succeeded, SuperCID has just been written on your HTC android phone and you can now install any Stock ROMs best fit for your HTC phone on it.
