Some of you are still complaining that the magic SIM settings is not working for you. After some research,I think the methods discussed below here will work for you.
In order to avoid any mistakes, endeavour to read through patiently.
1st Method:
1- Load a recharge of N250. Afterwards, send 2H to 131.2- After that, check ur balance. If your money had been deducted, then it has worked 100%.
3- Off your phone and remove your SIM card then, put it in a safe place for 26hrs.
4- After 26hrs, insert your SIM, go to Notes on your phone and type
(1.web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net )then copy it.
5- Dial *123*4*5*2*4# and reply, Now click on option and paste what you have copied ( 1. Web.gprs.mtnnig eria.net )
6- You will get an expiry message about your 150mb data plan you subcribed to, If u did not see the expired message notification, send 2 to 131 to get it. - remove and insert your SIM and start surfing unlimited till mama call with no bandwitch limit.
2nd Method:
1. Get MTN SIM and load N250 then dial *406# to migrate to MTN Pulse.2. Send 2H to 131 and then, remove your battery from the phone. NOTE: DO NOT insert the SIM on any phone or modem for the next 3 hours.
3. After 3 hours, insert the SIM on any phone or modem and then, send 103 to 131 or 106 to 131.
4. Now, your SIM is activated! And you can start browsing for as long as you want.
