What is IMEI?
IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a 15- or 17-digit code that uniquely identifies mobile phone sets and some gadgets that use the data or telephony service(s).
By help of the IMEI, GSM (Global System for Mobile communication) or UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications Service) network can track, disable or prevent a misplaced or stolen phone from initiating calls, connect to the internet and a host of other things.
Why Change My IMEI?
Well, individuals with varying reasons but mostly, people change IMEI to correct the NULL IMEI problem of some android devices like Samsung and iTel.
It is also done to get the Glo BIS and other networks BIS services to work with android devices. However, in that case, the phone's IMEI has to be changed to a Blackberry IMEI.

How to Change Infinix Zero IMEI
Requirements:1- Rooted Infinix Zero -you can learn how to root your Infinix Zero from here.
2- Mobile Uncle Application -you can download Mobile Uncle from the Play Store.
3- The .bak file -download the IMEI.bak file from here.
Now, CHanging the Infinix Zero IMEI
1- Download the IMEI.bak file from the link above.2- Download and install Mobile Uncle application on your phone.
3- Move the downloaded IMEI.bak file to the root of your phone storage i.e just move the IMEI.bak file on the memory, not in any folder at all. Let it be in such a way that when you open the storage on file explorer, you can directly view the IMEI.bak file.
4- Lunch/open Mobile Uncle on the phone, navigate to the IMEI Backup Restore (MTK) and tap/open it.
5- Flash the IMEI.back file: you will notice that Mobile Uncle displays the list of the storage that has the IMEI.bak file.
Select the one that has it and confirm it. In few seconds, Mobile Uncle will flash the new IMEI and a confirmation message will be shown to you.
Simply reboot your phone and enjoy.
