For many reasons, most android phone users would want to root their phones, however, the process through which this root access is being gained varies.
Here, within this article, we discuss one of the simplest methods to gain root access on your HTC Rezound which is also known as HTC Vigor.
What is Root Access?
To put simply, the root access (Also, Super User 'Right') is the process by which super user privilege is gained on an android device and by so doing, letting you install and use apps you might not ordinarily be able to use, perform functions that could not be accomplished on unrooted android devices.
How to Root your HTC Rezound
Since the root privilege greatly depends on how well you are able to install the SU binaries on the android device and have a SuperUser app that will mentain and manage your root access, I have attached a zip file that can be flashed on your HTC Rezound.
This ZIP file contains all the SU binaries necessary for your HTC Rezound and and a superuser.apk file, an app that helps you manage your superuser privilege.

Below is how to flash the SuperSU.zip file on your HTC Rezound to gain root access.
1- Download the zip file named SuperUser.zip in the table below this page and save it on the root folder of your SD Card.
2- Boot your phone to recovery by any means. You can simply just remove your battery, re-insert the battery and press and hold the Power + the Volume Down buttons together until the phone comes up on hboot screen.
3- On the screen that comes up, navigate to the recovery option (using the volume up and volume down buttons) and press the power button to select it.
4- On the recovery screen, choose install zip from SD Card. Then, click Choose zip from SD Card.
5- Navigate to the SuperUser.zip file you may have downloaded from the table below and select it.
6- Confirm that you want to flash the SuperUser.zip file and wait patiently until the process is completed.
7- Reboot your phone, locate the SuperUser app installed on it and enjoy!
