Flashing the SuperSU zip File
1- Download the file named SuperSU in the table below.
2- Move or copy the file to the root of your SDCard. By now, you should have removed the previous file named PH85IMG from the root of your SDCard.
3- Go to Menu<<>>Settings<<>>Power<<>>Fastboot and unmark the Fastboot option.
4- Switch off your phone and with the SDCard in the phone, press and hold the Power + the Volume Down buttons until the phone comes up.
5- Using the Power button, scroll down to recovery and select it using the Power button. Once selected, the phone boots to recovery.
6- On the recovery UI, select or click on Install. From the files that show up, scroll to the SuperSU file you have downloaded and select it. Swipe the arrow for the flashing process to begin.
7- Once the flashing completes, simply reboot your phone.
Congratulations! Your HTC Amaze 4G is now Eng-off, Custom Recovery flashed and rooted.
