How I Enjoyed Free Browsing On My Glo Line Till Today

This is not a cheat, it is a logic and it's working for me. I enjoyed free browsing using my Glo line for more than three (3) months now. You can do the same and I assure you that it will work for you, too.


As per the nature of my work, I do heavy subscriptions on Glo and Etisalat lines which I believe are the best networks in Nigeria when it comes to internet connectivity.

So, here is the LOGIC



1- Dial *100*10*1# to switch your tariff plan to the Glo Bumpa tariff plan.
2- Recharge your account with the amount you wish to subscribe with e.g N1,000 for the Glo always Micro data plan.
3- Dial #122*2# to check your Glo Bumpa bonus account. It should be N2,000 bonus on N1,000 recharge.
4- Subscribe to the Glo data plan of your choice e.g dial *127*53# for the Glo always micro data plan.
5- Enjoy browsing the internet while using your Bumpa bonus to call any network, message and even browse,if you wish.

Pro Tip: You can recharge multiples of recharge cards and still have your bonus. E.g multiples of N200 recharge card also gives you multiple bonuses.

How to Solve HTC Desire HD/Inspire 4G Bluetooth Problem

From time to time, I have received comments and messages in my mailbox and on Aryk Enterprise Facebook fan page regarding the Bluetooth and Wifi failure of the HTC Desire HD also known as HTC Inspire 4G or G10, and finally, I have decided to help you guys out.


If you notice that suddenly, your HTC Desire HD/Inspire 4G Bluetooth fails to open or that the phone's WiFi no longer functions, this problem might be caused by certain things and most of which shall be discussed within this write up.

Possible Causes of HTC Desire HD/Inspire 4G Bluetooth or WiFi Failure And Solutions



1- If HTC Desire HD/Inspire 4G Bluetooth fail to work or shows grey ink or that, the phone's WiFi no longer on or works following an upgrade or downgrade (changing of ROMs) either from custom ROM to stock ROM or vice versa; this kind of problem is usually caused by bugs from the ROM's development and requires fixing.

Solution
Revert back to the previous ROM that works best for the phone or better still, try another ROM, the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi should come back and good.

2- If you notice that your HTC Desire HD/Inspire 4G Bluetooth or WiFi suddenly stops working or force closes each time you on it. What is An Android ROM?

A ROM image, generally, is a data file that contains information used on a Read Only Memory chip I.e., that means a complete system image of a device.


In android, the ROM contains virtually, all the codes and data files that make up android OS. Each Android device has its own ROM image that contains files and codes needed to boot the device up and run Android on it.

The ROM also contains a GUI (graphical user interface), required and useful applications, support files for those applications and the kernel which together make the experience of an Android device beautiful.

Types of Android ROM



Basically, there are two types of android ROM;
The Stock ROM and,
Custom ROM


Stock ROM is the version of the phone's operating system that comes with your phone when you buy it or as may be made available to you as at when the update for your device comes.

Custom ROM is a fully standalone version of the OS, including the kernel, apps, services, etc everything you need to operate the device, except that it is customized by someone in some way. The modification may have been made by a group of people or an individual.

Why Use Stock ROM?


1- The first reason why you might prefer the Stock ROM is the risk of voiding your WARRANTY in case you encounter any problem in the long run.

2- Secondly, your device hardware and software producers claim that they provide the best and most stable ROM suitable for your device. Other than these two reasons, I see no other.

Why Would you Prefer the Custom ROM?



1- Frequency Updates: Because Custom ROMs are being made by an individual or a few group of people, the updates could be churned faster than the stock ROM. And needless to mention, frequent updates corrects bugs and fix all sorts of troubles the ROM might give at the initial stage until it reaches its stable stage.

2- Better Performance And Efficiency: Custom ROMs are usually faster, lighter and functional because of the better kernel and removal of builtin apps that may have been added by the hardware producer.

3- Later Android Supports. This, let us take the HTC Desire Z or TMobile G2 as an example. Neither HTC nor T-Mobile G2 has ever released an update beyond android 2.3.5 for the device but, thanks to the available custom ROMs, HTC Desire Z/T Mobile G2 now runs android 4.2.2 with ease.

4- Zero Restrictions. Most custom ROMs are being rooted by default leaving you with zero restrictions so you can do anything you like with your phone.

Pro Tip: You may have to try several custom ROMs for your android device before you are able to get a suitable one for it. A Google Search should help.

Android Radio And RIL: Brief Details

An android device's Radio is one of the most important components making up the android system, OS. However, when we talk about the android radio, we should talk about the android device Radio Layer Interface as well, RIL for short.



From your android device's GSM/GPRS service, WiFi down to the Bluetooth are being controlled by the device's radio while the Radio Layer Interface, RIL for short, is a layer in an operating system which provides an interface to the hardware's radio.

In android, a good Radio and RIL match would help your device get the best services reception possible and can also help improve your device's battery life circle.

When you notice that your android device's service/signal reception is poor or not working as expected, you might consider flashing a better Radio.img file of your particular phone or look for a preferablly matching RIL file for that particular Radio.img currently on the phone and flash it.

To know the actual version of your device's radio, go to Menu <<>> Settings <<>> About.
You should notice a line of code named "Baseband Version -that is your android device's radio version. You can just write the code down for references or, simply do a Google Search for that code to bring a list of radio.img files for that version.

Nevertheless, you may not be able to flash a new radio on your android device except that you have unlocked the device's boot loader.

Pro Tip:It is not a good practise nor is it advisable to flash a new radio.img file on your android device except that it is strongly needed.


Flashing a corrupt radio file may render your android phone completely useless while a wrong RIL file may break your android device.

HTC Droid Incredible 2 Eng-off Hboot.zip

As you may have learnt that a custom recovery cannot be flashed on an HTC device that has its bootloader locked. Here, within this article, I have uploaded an HTC Droid Incredible 2 eng-off hboot.zip -this zip file contains the latest eng-off hboot for HTC Droid Incredible 2, hence, an upgrade from android 4.0 upward can be done.

Please, note that this process may render your phone useless if carelessly used and that, interruption of the process for any reason or by any means is destructive therefore; you should exercise caution carrying out the process.
Meanwhile, your battery must be at least, 30% charged before you proceed.

This process updates your HTC Droid Incredible 2 with the latest clockworkmod recovery and hboot.

1- Download the file named PG32IMG.zip in the table below this page.
2- Copy the file to the root of your SD Card i.e don't copy it under any folder in the SDCard. And make sure it is named PG32IMG.zip
3- Disable fastboot mode on the phone by going to Menu <<>> Settings <<>> Power <<>> Fastboot.
4- Put off your phone by removing the battery and re-insert the battery again.
