[ASUS ZOOT] Tutorial to Flash Stock ROM from Custom ROM {Latest} - Without PC Method|stock rom go to rompure.com

Hello

In This Post I will tell you how to Downgrade from Custom ROM to Stock ROM in Asus ZenFone ZOOT i.e ZD551KL - ZF Selfie and ZF2Laser FHD

WithOut PC METHOD

Requirements:

1. Stock Boot and Recovery.

2. You must have TWRP or ADB is you wanna do via PC

3.Download Asus Firmware from Asus Helpdesk

WITHOUT PC METHOD:

*Boot To TWRP

*Wipe : All Partitions except Internal and External

*NOW,

*Click on Install

*select Install Image

*Locate Boot and Recovery IMages

*now flash them;

*Boot: Boot partition

*Recovery : Recovery Partition

*Now Reboot to Recovery

{ IF stuck at LOGO open Recovery via holding the power and volume buttons }

*Select APPLY UPDATE FROM SDCARD

*Select Firmware Zip and done

Download Lollipop Image and Try if Lollipop doesnt work then only download Marshmallow ones

NOTE::

Once you have completed the installation process, open Viper4Android app and then install the driver from within the app and then reboot once.

To stop MTKLogger on each boot
–Open dial pad and type *#9527*#
Click on DMType the password “54321”
If DM Flag value is “1”
Choose “ok”, DM mark will become “0”
If DM colour turn green from red, then choose “close” and select “sure”
Reboot
“factory” and “MTKlogger” is gone after the boot

[TuT][Downgrade][Android 6.0-7.0 to Official Lollipop (/360)[With FP working]|stock rom go to rompure.com

In this tutorial i will tell you how you can downgrade back to Lollipop from Marshmallow

You can use this method to flash 360OS Lollipop also from Marshmallow. i.e 3.18.xx kernel

*IT WILL WORK ON BOTH NOTE 3 & NOTE 3 LITE

TUT-1 (COOLUI 6)

Requirements

TWRP Recovery on any MM Rom
Brain
SP flashable of CoolUI 6
[System.img | Boot.img | ik.bin | trustzone.bin | logo.bin |

TUTORIAL:----

First things first Change the .bin extension to .img then only TWRP will read these files

Now you need a Lollipop based TWRP -

Boot To TWRP
Make Proper Backup if you want to of System , tee1 , tee2 , frp , secro , logo , nvram , nvdata , Data (if you want - it will occupy most Space ) , boot , logo , recovery.
After Backup
Click on Install
Select 'Install Image'
Now locate to where you Extracted your Lollipop - COOLUI 6 Files.
After Locating Install one by one to these mentioned PARTITIONS:-

BOOT.IMG >> BOOT
TRUSTZONE.IMG >> TEE
IK.IMG >> UBOOT
LOGO.IMG >> LOGO
SYSTEM.IMG >>SYSTEM

Flash SuperSU

First boot will take 5 minutes don't worry.
DONE!

WANT TO FLASH 360OS LOLLIPOP FROM MARSHMALLOW ( KERNEL 3.18.XX ) ??

Follow TUT-1 but don't flash System and Boot but flash 360OS.zip ROM and flash those mentioned Partitions

Not indeed - but if you want to flash Secro partition use this method to flash Secro.img. First, copy Secro.IMG of lollipop to sdcard and boot to TWRP.
NOW,
To flash Secro you can use terminal TWRP ,

[TuT.]Fix USB Debugging - No Charge | Power & Volume button ISSUES [COOLUI 8]|stock rom go to rompure.com

Hello Guys ,

In this Tutorial i will tell you how to fix the following issues in CoolUI and CoolUI based RoMs:
*No Charging shown even when put to Charge.
*Power Button doesn't work while phone is put to charge
*Volume Button doesn't work.

Well , this happens as your phone is rooted.

Don't worry we can fix it. [TESTED IN NOTE 3 & NOTE 3 LITE BOTH]

1st Step:
[You need to be rooted - obviously ]
Open SuperSU
-Go to settings of SuperSU
-Scroll down and select "Full Unroot"
-Click on Continue

- Now it will ask "Attempt to restore stock boot image........" Click on "NO"

NOW YOUR DEVICE WILL GET UNROOTED AND IT WILL REBOOT.

2nd STEP:
When the phone reboots click , open directly TWRP and flash this :

Root and Factory Text Remover by Uday

Now REBOOT TO SYSTEM.

Put the phone charging and check the power and volume buttons , it should be fixed by now

Now , Reboot back to TWRP and flash SuperSU.zip to root the device

Done , now you won't face this issue next time - and if you do do this again :)
