How to Enable Multi-window On Android 6.0 Marshmallow

One of the stunning features of the Android M, Android 6.0 Marshmallow is its ability to multi-task flawlessly in real-time and on multiple Windows however, this feature is still being experimented by Google. By this, I mean, the feature is not fully implemented yet, however, if you wish to try out the feature before it is implemented, here is how to enable the Multi-task feature of the Android M, android 6.0 Marshmallow on your android device.

This multi-window layout is extremely experimental, so this is your warning.
Don’t do this unless you know what you’re doing. Google hasn’t officially announced this, it’s not supported, and apps will likely break.
Also, this requires that you have root access to enable the Multi-Wimdow feature on your android M using the instructions on this guide.

How to Enable Multi-Wimdows On Android 6.0 Marshmallow
1- Download and install root-enabled file browser on your android device. Either ES Explorer or any other root-enabled file browser is ok to do the trick.

2- Lunch the file browser and use it to mount the “system” folder on your phone’s storage.

3- Open the “system” folder. Select “build.prop” and open it with a root-enabled text editor. I recommend that you use inbuilt text editor of whichever root explorer you use.

4- On a new line at the bottom of the file, add the following line:
persist.sys.debug.multi_window=true
and then, Save the build.prop file.
Reboot your phone and you're good to try out the android 6.0 Marshmallow multi-window feature now.

To activate multi-window, open a couple of apps, and then tap the multi tasking button. You’ll see a new icon next to the X in the title bar of the apps in the multi tasking rolodex wheel. Simply tap this icon and choose where you’d like that app to go. The previous app in your list will fill in the other side.
